A results-oriented strategic planner with a history of balancing staffing and business needs, implementing continuous improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing risk and liability. A leader and motivator with a reputation for translating organizational vision into profitable business and operational concepts with experience across multiple disciplines (human resources, sales, operations, information technology and marketing).
Prior to joining PeopleFirst HR Solutions as one of our managing partners, Ian had his own consulting practice. He was head of HR at both Reinhart Foodservice and Bruce Edmeades Company, with experience in both US and Canada. He also worked in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years. Ian is a graduate of Tyndale University and Conestoga College, and is certified with Everything DiSC and John Maxwell.
