Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional hospitality to/interaction with guests and coworkers
  • Provide guests with water, coffee/tea, and other refills during service
  • Rearrange the table in conformity with the standards of the restaurant
  • Ensure the floor area and the chairs around the table are clean
  • Bus used and unneeded dishes and glassware from guests tables to the dish cleaning area
  • Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to the dish cleaning area
  • Run Dishes through machine or three compartment sink
  • Dry and re-stock dishes in proper areas
  • Restock the service station and refill beverage stations
  • Properly finish plates with condiments or garnishes as dictated by Distillery standards
  • Run food or beverages to proper table and seat numbers
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations; clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, polish silverware and glasses
  • Set up and break down tasting room and service stations as directed; including movement of furniture
  • Ensure bar area has ice, clean glassware, clean tools & properly stocked product
  • Make sure products have proper labeling including date & ingredient behind bar
  • Maintain freshness of juices, cut fruit, garnishes, herbs & other cocktail ingredients
  • Assist in the batching or infusing of ingredients as directed by bar program
  • Assist in changing kegs, adjusting/ changing CO2 and all other technical duties as required
  • Maintain proper garbage and recycling functions behind the bar and in the kitchen
  • Ensure restaurant and surrounding areas are aesthetically pleasing and kept to high standards for Distillery
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
  • Attend all employee meetings and trainings beyond scheduled shifts as required
  • All other related responsibilities assigned by management

  • Attention to detail in creating an exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute flow of work and to multi-task
  • Basic level knowledge of cocktail mixing & spirit flavor profiles
  • Basic level of knowledge of distillation processes

 Physical Requirements

  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
  • Prolonged standing
  • Frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs
